I found some kind of bulliten board -type -stuff in the street the other day.

lets put it this way - if i did the whole washroom, I would have a soundproof place to develop photographs. its like black bristol board on each side filled with a kind of foam in the middle, and I nailed it to the ceiling of my washroom.
